Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began to train in the sports of combat. As well as BJJ classes, she also trained in boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing. At age 18 years old, Ladd had her amateur debut at WCFC. Ladd took advantage of this win and then went on to a three-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents in the opening round of all fights. Cynthia defeated Aspen to beat her an unanimous decision. This put an ominous mark on her records in her amateur. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff to improve her amateur record from 8-1 to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in the year 2015, when she signed with Invicta FC. The InvictaFC11 fight was her debut professional fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing an 1st round TKO. The next time she fought, she won with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission, and then moved up to the weight of bantamweight in her next bout at Invicta FC 16. Aspen used superior wrestling to defeat McGill in the third round via TKO. Aspen was then up against Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) in a "catchweight"(138.1lb) as Ladd failed to make weight. Aspen, however, dominated Hoy through TKO. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her final bout with the company. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to make her debut. She took on Linalansberg in UFC Fight Night 118. She was a step ahead of Lina and ground-and-pounded her to pick up a second-round TKO victory. She continued to dominate and got a bigger win when she fought Tonya Evinger. UFC 229 Ladd was able to defeat Evinger in the very first round and received a bonus for her performance during the night. Sijara Eubanks from Invicta FC was her opponent for an rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was her first big fight. Ladd won the night's fight bonus after both fighters fought a fierce fight back and forth. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd in just 16 seconds to end her streak of winning. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya after the third round at UFC in ESPN 7. In her place, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight ended in an unanimous decision.
